I looked into the Events tab in the properties of the High Definition Audio Controller device in Device Manager and I think that's where this whole thing is falling apart. I found a post on here from nine months ago which looked promising, but my computer still threw up the 'Device could not start' error. (Code 10)' and when I look up how to fix Code 10, it either circles back around to 'update the driver,' which I can't do, or 'look up your chipset and download the latest driver,' which I don't know how to look up.
When I hover over the icon in the taskbar, it says 'No Audio Output Device Installed.' I've tried some Googling, but most answers I found said to go to Device Manager and update the driver, but every time I try I get hit with the error message 'This device cannot start. I recently bought Windows 10 so I could play games on my computer during the quarantine, but I'm not getting any sound from Windows 10 Home V1909.
